About CUUPS
The Onion CUUPS (Covenant of UU Pagans) is an Earth based, spiritually oriented, joyous, caring group affliated with the Sepulveda Unitarian Universalist Society ( AKA “The Onion”) Our events are open to any interested person who wishes to explore this spiritual path in harmony with Unitarian Universalist Purposes and Principles.
We will meet either inside the Onion or on the Grounds* (depending on weather & time of day)
*most of the events will be outside

Mabon - sponsored by SFV Pagans and Wiccans Circle Public Mabon Ritual ft. Workshop
Sunday, September 19th at 11 AM at 6350 Woodley Ave. in Van Nuys
Event Details: Mabon is the time of the final harvest. A time to reflect on the past year and to look forward to the coming winter. Mabon is the final sabbat before Samhain, the celtic new year. As a craft workshop the participants will take hazel nuts and paint symbols of protection on them to be used for the dark time of the year to come. These hazel nuts will be drilled so they may be strung on a red cord so may be worn.
Bring: A snack or drink to share and something to sit on
Directions: On Woodley, just south of Victory, take the Japanese Garden and Wildlife Reserve entrance. Turn right towards Archery Range.Continue following road until wooden fence on left-hand side ends. Immediately find parking.
